I didn’t get the name until I Googled it: urban dictionary: Homeslice1. Another term for homie, but more personal and often used amongst friends of the highest value.
2. A slice of homie. You have a group of homies, and homeslice is used to address just one of them.
Homeslice, you’re taking the wrong view of the situation. In reality, most of the 2 legged creatures who are willing to share THEIR homes with 4 legged furred ones have the potential to be trained by any cat willing to make the effort.
Introducing a new cat to the home should not be rushed. Let #1 know that status remain. Isolate the new cat in a room for a day, let #1 sniff, the next day leave the new cat in the carrier and let #1 in, more sniffing. The next day open the carrier and allow them to introduce themselves face to face. There will be tiffs but they will gradually settle in and one day you will surprise them snuggled up with each other.

Lennie, perhaps you might share a genuine photo of Homeslice with all of us. Would love that.

ROFL! Funny – but that does kinda describe how cats feel. Except that several of mine decided that any guy I had over belonged to them…

Walk away Lennie. I know of what I speak. Just walk away now, intact.
Homeslice will own you, and, if you push this too far it will be you sleeping on the sofa.

Don’t fight it, Lennie. You’ll never win! Better to make friends right away!

We haven’t even BEGUN to see how beloved GINGER reacts to the new addition. Will they be buddies (“homies”) ? Or adversaries?
