^Not yet, but it does show their contempt for America and Americans.

The economy is in a shambles, over 9% of the population is unemployed, infrastructure is crumbling, and suddenly the deficit is all the rage. We’ve been hijacked by the Tea Party and the billionaires that support them.

^Actually, the unemployment rate is closer to 12%. If we don’t get the US debt undr controll, the rate will probably be closer to 50%. And, I don’t think “the billionaires” nor the “tea party” is responsible. We’re ALL responsible for allowing our government (BOTH D & R) to get us in this mess.

The founders had their backs up against the wall by an oppressive monarchy. How are things different for us today? Our financial backs are against the wall and the governing bodies in this country think that they are a monarchy…their “let them eat cake” attitude about the rest of us is worse than the situation that our founders found themselves in. Is it time for a midnight ride or a shot heard ‘round the world?

@mnsmkd- Politicians may have allowed jobs to go overseas, but billionaires made the decision. Profits over worrying about your soon to be former workers & all that…

Well after the effort to cremate the Constitution, why not bury the government?

Funny how this melt down of the economy worked out for the “smaller gov’t” crowd. Suddenly all we have to do is dump every social program ‘cause we can’t afford them. How often are we hearing we’ve got to think of the future and our children’s children. How about the kids who are alive now. Anybody read ‘The Shock Doctrine?

What Wall street and the bankers have stolen makes Madoff’s ponzi scheme look like peanuts and not one bastard has had to do the perp walk. They just put out a report by the country’s best economists that took over a year to produce to tell us it was Wall street greed and lack of oversight. Hell, I couid’ve told them that in two sentences but nobody called me.

Dtroutma, they don’t want to cremate the Constitution; they want to mummify it and deify its authors.

FAMS43 - This is exactly what they have been striving for since the days of Reagan, perhaps Hoover. They have fooled everyone. Nobody in the right seems to have caught on, or at least admitted to it.
