    Stupid or not.. get used to it.. Management likes it.. gets tax breaks to install it.. and the displaced worker gets lots of leisure time .. a win win.. until the worker runs out of money.

    Check out Moley. It is a robotic chef. It should be coming out sometime next year. It mimics a top-end chef with downloadable recipes. The recipe includes all the chefs movements. It even does the dishes at the end.

    Just like during the Industrial Revolution, machines took over dreary jobs and made life better for all. Hopefully this is just an enhanced repeat.

    With people’s greater possibility for error, my last job before retiring was making automated testers to verify the work of human assemblers. That may sound demeaning, but realize, the tester is just seeing if it works correctly or not. The people are the ones using tools to build the devices. That’s a lot more complicated process with variables robots aren’t capable of doing anytime soon, if at all.
