One thing I didn’t like about STNG was the switching of colors. And recall that in the first few episodes there was just shades of gold and blue no red. Lt. Uhura also wore gold for 2 episodes. Sulu wore blue in the 2nd piolot, gold and red though not all in the same universe. He was security chief on the I.S.S. Enterprise.
Even in black in white, that shade is unlikely to be red. But I wouldn’t worry about it anyway, Annie, you’re a star of the show so you won’t get knocked off.
