Calvin Coolidge was an American politician and lawyer who served as the 30th president of the United States from 1923 to 1929. Which would make Biz 97.
A l-o-o-ng time ago, my wife’s family shared a house with the Richard Nixon family. My MIL (now deceased) always thought that he was a nice person. So I could never say anything bad about him in her hearing.
I vaguely remember Harry Truman’s election in 1948 but have stronger memories of Eisenhower’s election and inauguration in 1953 because of school and watching it on television.
Somewhere, my father has video recording of Nixon’s resignation speech. We were testing his new video recorder and hooked it up to the TV just as the speech was starting. I remember him saying we should save that tape, even though they were quite expensive. The tape cassettes were huge then, and could only record a half hour, but we got the whole speech.
My grandfather worked for the VP candidate of the other major party when Coolidge was the VP candidate in 1920 from 1934 to 1945 and his successor until 1950.

The classic reply to “I’m dating myself” is “nobody else will”.

ok, if you make ten years old the age which you can remember the winner of a U.S. election , then if Calvin was elected in 1923, then
that child was born in ’13………that makes the old codger 107……
