Well, I’ve still got a CRT TV and haven’t yet got a flat one.
Growing up, I was my dads remote control. I changed a lot of channels for him but I think there was only a half dozen or so.
A plugger only has one remote.
Usually eat dinner with Radio on , not TV …
The last time I used the TV was to test my new computer.

Apparently there is a channel that shows mostly old westerns. My 89 yo mother tells me about it a lot.
Being right-handed, I prefer my remote on the left while eating…stays a bit cleaner that way.
After all, one must show proper decoram.
Pluggers WERE the remote when they were kids
