Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
If you didn’t want Louie to crawl up, you shouldn’t have sat down and left a nice, warm lap in plain sight.
Maybe if the whole crew pitches in, we can get Henry one of those inversion table contraptions.. hanging upside down may be batty, but there’s no lap to worry about ; )
Back in 2010, a random guy on a park bench told his pup that 50 pounds wasn’t a lap dog. Luckily, Nate was there to assure Louie that 87 still is. Looks like Nate needs to have a talk with the captain.I still have that comic clipped and hanging up in the dog food cabinet.
All large Dogs (Labs especially) missed that memo—my 70-lb Lab curls into the smallest ball possible in my lap (hint—it ain’t small) and takes advantage of my immobility to cover my face and neck with mlems
Sweetheart used to sit up next next to me on the couch and slowly lean into me until she was laying across my lap. She can’t do that any more because she has trouble with the couch now.
What she does do now is sit on me when we go to bed. XD
My 90# pit-lab would climb up on my lap while I was in my recliner. After a quick nap he would get down because he couldn’t move around to get comfortable again. Miss him.

My precious Skittles, our beautiful American Bulldog, knew that she could always sit in her Nana’s (me) lap.

Dogs like Louie aren’t lap dogs? Blasphemy! I’m sure he has something to say about that …
