To Egrayjames from yesterday’s comments – yes, I realized you were joking about how much butter did I have to buy to win our VPI prize. But don’t think I would not have bought some if I needed just a couple more points to get first place over second (or second over third for that matter, since third place doesn’t win anything). But in this case, I had a commanding lead and didn’t need to buy butter to win it. However, when I chose the Sparkle paper towels (my regular brand) I actually did buy a couple packages when the person in third place started getting really close to taking over my second place. I don’t know just how much of an impact my own purchases made on the final results, but I had nothing to lose buy buying the paper towels that month.

Something is going on, I couldn’t sign in and now it only lets me look at one comic at a time and I have to go out, sign in and look at the next one. And it made me reset my password, and choose my comics all over again.

And apparently I’m not premium either! What???

Ok, I think I got it straightened out, I changed my address and City and apparently it threw GC into a tizzy. Sheesh…

It was Clive James night tonight on BBC2. Reruns of two of his ‘Postcards’ from 1991. So well done. His turn of phrase was magnificent. I can thoroughly recommend his books.

You just gotta love Oliver. He means well. On another note, saw a squirrel and some finches while out walking today. I also heard an owl and a train off in the distance.
