Its name is from the Greek words meaning “tyrant” and “lizard” and the Latin word for “king.”

So Mr. T-Rex, why aren’t you still around? Brain damage from crushing animals to death.

    Tyrant lizard king,

    Is a mighty awesome thing

With a scaly hide, we knew

But one still wouldn’t want to meet one,

Lest it decide to eat one

If one laughed at the feathers it grew.

Hey Ants. You guys are still around. T-Rexes AIN’T. So, let that sink in.

And please don’t give Me that “Dinos evolved into birds,” stuff.

That’s really clever, Mr. T-Rex, except that the second line would scan better with one slight change: “Though I am quite peaceful when fed.” Also, the fourth line should be, “I’ll forfeit all charms” to rhyme perfectly with “but razz on my arms.”

A little poetic license, but I take his meaning. Of course, they are all dead. That whole climate change thing did a number on them. Yeah, I heard it was a meteorite, and I can accept it, but the rock did not land on every one of them. It changed the climate with dust and destruction.
