    A very caring mother. From what I’ve seen in real life they build their nest big enough for two eggs and two baby chicks but as the chicks grow there is not enough room for two and the weakest one gets shoved out of the nest to live or die on the ground below. Survival of the fittest I guess.

    Few years ago, I saw a mother bird teaching her baby how to fly…he flew right into my back door, and was stunned for a brief moment but she came by him to make sure he was ok….so cute!
