Those little stickers have the best glue. I wish I could fit in a bottle.

We noticed that when moving from Portland, OR to Salem, OR the quality of the farmers’ markets took a major jump.

We always used to go to Lake Erie for summer vacation, and one of the highlights was getting produce (especially melons) at a roadside stand. I learned years later most of the melons were imported from Indiana. :-/

We used to have three flower-and-produce stands in our town. Now we have one farmer’s market, one condo complex, a bank and a car dealership. NOT progress!
