I wonder that she doesn’t seem to have been even wanting a boyfriend, yet she still wants a date… just for the dance.

Dances can bring that out in people. My father was my date for one high school dance. He didn’t approve of my minidress, but we were so happy to have this time together. I was never ashamed to be seen with him.

Twig…….that maybe the reason?

A bit puzzling really. She’s obviously an interesting person and just as importantly to many teenage boys has red hair and is supposed to be ‘well endowed’. Hard to believe none of the boys are interested in her for multiple reasons.
