Actually, I do this too! I always have one or two items in the “basket”!
Your savings account is crying, Janis.
At least Janis is opening the boxes after they come.
I usually find my cart contents, inversely proportional to my wallet contents….
Buy something that ships from China. It’ll be in the pipeline for months.
Not any more, it is amazing how quickly things can get to middle America from china these days, esp tools.
What I hate is getting my credit card bill in more than one envelope…
Sure, go ahead and kill brick and mortar.
Arlo will be more than happy to fill your “pipeline” and put a smile on your face.
Wouldn’t it be cool if the cart changed into a platform truck when you ordered a very large item?
It’s the waiting. The anticipation. I’m waiting for a single watch battery myself, and Sunday I ordered a new winter hat. Will the excitement never end!?
Anticipation can be like a sugar high.
The bell sound her app makes mean Jeff Bezos just earned another mega-yacht.
Whatever happened to “instant gratification”, you know, going to a store and getting what you want?
I swear that must be my wife in the 4th panel and not Janis.
I unwittingly ordered from a Chinese vendor on Amazon. Took 7 weeks to get to Va. very small pkg. BTW.
it is fun to have something on the way ….
Some day that pipeline will be emptier.
These are the same people who will complain when they go into town “What happened to all the cute shops?!”
Makes me wonder whether then next economic crash won’t be due to people realizing “Do I REALLY need to buy/eat that?”
When you get to the point of wondering what you ordered, you may have too much in the pipeline.
Hrrump! order a tea pot and make a cuppa the proper way
I have a similar addiction, but it mostly involves comics and board games.
The Corona virus is up for ordering.
I am surprised how many of you sound like shopping addicts. I wasn’t even sure what Janis meant until I started reading comments.
Like Arlo has said before, the economy depends on it.
I kind of hate how true this is. Love/hate relationship. Love getting stuff, hate all that cardboard to get to the recycling place.
So true!
