A real chuckler and sadly too true. The numbers say that the more you spend on a wedding, the shorter the marriage. We put the $15 grand down on a house.

A friends daughter was married a week when she announced she wanted to date other guys. Her parents were so pissed, they took all her wedding gifts and returned them to the senders.

uh… I think this is more of a comment on certain people who will do anything for “a good deal”

My cousin and her wife were given a deal like that, but IIRC it was 50% off on the second gown. They ended up going with tailored white suits as a more practical and economic option.

Well, eventually under the “Equal Justice Under the Law” provision under the constitution Polygamy will eventually be recognized and made legal.

I took it as a reference to how many marriages don’t last very long and also how many more people have multiple marriages nowadays. Either way…society is moving too fast.

Of all of the above suggestions, I like the “one gown for the wedding and the other for the reception” best.

We already know that. Golly, things aren’t exactly the same as they were when I was much younger, why would that be?
