Funny thing is my greyhounds self regulate their eating perfectly. I could put out the whole bag and it would last as long (except for the ants in summer). Very depressing looking at their food bowls while I’m attacking the pantry.
We had a dog who was a grazer. He would eat bits of food throughout the day. However, he always ate with us at dinner. He would go to the kitchen, pick up a piece of his food, walk to the dining room, chew it and then repeat the process for the rest of the meal: a very sociable animal.
Our cat, on the other hand, complains loudly if her bowl is not full enough.
o-k, I know cartoon physics here, but that dog is so fat, how can he even keep control of that marker, unless he scribbled on the carton with his mouth

Must be on a diet – a HUNGRY dog would write ‘THREE BAGS’.

Then quickly put him out where the lawn will be his second stomach, and like a cow he can regurgitate then re-chew for days.
