It’s actually an indescribable feeling to be in the Alpha State, which is when you are relaxed enough to start drifting off to sleep, but you’re still vaguely aware of what’s going on around you!

Well, is still daytime.

I used to go into the Alpha State in geography class. Teacher called it daydreaming, though I was mildly aware of what was going on around me.

In the United States, the Alpha State is when you don’t consider yourself a part of a Red State, or a Blue State. Snoopy is demonstrating his independence.

And you Beta believe it!

Enjoy it while it lasts, Snoopy!

It’s nice. I did it frequently when I was a teenager. I can’t seem to get it as an adult.

He’s in an Alpha State of Mind

Last night, my husband & I watched the latest episode of “The Walking Dead”. Without spoilers, all I’ll say is that I would NOT want to be in an “Alpha” state! (Anyone who’s seen the show will know what I mean; apologies to those who don’t.)

I think we could all use us some alpha state about now…

I think this says it is ©1973 which was around the time that biorhythm charts were popular as well. People were all into mind stuff then.

I often spend large chunks of the night in the alpha state and I hate it. I’m really tired and I want to sleep, but I never quite get there.

What alpha state?

I USED to watch the show until recently. It got boring to me.
