Not sure what he was going to say about the Easter bunny, but perhaps that they have nothing to do with the Christian Easter, which actually was an ancient pagan celebration of spring that was hijacked by the early church. Bunnies, chicks, eggs were all seen as signs of nature’s annual rebirth.
