Drat, now you all know what happens in Minnesota

Once my girlfriend and I were on my motorcycle and got caught in a spring downpour. By the time we got to my house we were soaked to the bone. We got naked and under the blankets and tried to get warm. We did eventually.

Well at least I now understand why Lio is always wearing the same clothes, they aren’t clothes, they are part of his skeletal cover-up.

Curious as to what the the book is. Something by Poe?

Really didn’t expect that.

When you’re cold to the bones, warm up your bones first. Seems simple to me….

Now that’s dry humor.

As Pink Floyd said: “It’s good to warm my bones beside the fire.”

I live in Minnesnowta. I can commiserate with being cold to the bone.

That’s how it is, sometimes. In winter. In the north. Chilled to the bone.

How can he see to read?

Makes perfect sense to me. When you’re soaked to the bone, slip out of your skin and let it dry by the fire as you sit and read while warming up. Doesn’t everyone?

I’m reminded of a couple Shel Silverstein poems.

One of the more adult short subjects on pay cable in the 70s showed an animated audience watching a live action stripper. And then she unzipped her skin to reveal a skeleton.
