Problem: The biggest holes in digital firewalls are humans. Answer: Remove the humans. New problem: bored humans. New answer: Webcomics?

Food for thought: Up to this date, we have been told nothing about so-called “topsiders” other than they seek the death of all so-called “mutants.”

Suddenly, we have a (female) “topsider” apparently willing to work with “mutants” Wally, Duffy, and Alan.

Even more suddenly, we have a den of “topsiders” about to be invaded by the “Jim thing,” and apparently, we are to be sympathetic with them.

    Did I miss something?

I would wager a guess the God infection is going to spread throughout all Topsider bases. Think of “Jim” commanding an entire fleet of destroyers roaming the surface attacking everything, accessing the satellite seeing all the surface. This would Unity look like a dumpster fire.

I like tech, but that saying in the last frame doesn’t sound good. Nope.

I always say to my folks, “Technology works….until it doesn’t.”

Perhaps I need to revise for this situation, “Technology works….until it murders you.”

To quote Spock from the ep. The Ultimate Computer";“Computers make excellent servants, I do not wish to serve under them.”

It’s nice that we’re finally getting a view into the world of the topsiders…

did anyone Really ever leave the Fitzgerald? This is something that seems like was going on with the little “wombs” where people were held for the unknown? Bad guys to suck fear out of them as food.Makes me think that once you get on the ship, there’s No way off.Sometimes it seems like you can’t get out of here alive or intact.Life’s hard and full of pain and then you die.Maybe I’m too gloomy to be reading this kind of thing but it’s better than watching politics. I’ve Never been so afraid of what is happening to our nation. The good thing is we aren’t in N. Korea.I was once married to a Korean and saw the scars he had from when his family was fleeing from N. Korea. And heard about how hungry they were. Read too how they destroyed that American student’s body and mind. I also had an art teacher who had the Nazi numbers on her arm. Try to stay sane. It’s a full time job.

Pretty soon, this tech is going to know you inside and out. And, just exactly how does that suit you?

Hmmm. The Edmund Fitz A.I. wasn’t fibbing about the multiverse stuff, and about the lack of virus. It also said that this reality (our strip continuity) is the only live reality in the middle of a bunch of dead ones. It also didn’t know why. This group of Apex employees, and their Eden experiment, might be the cause. It will be interesting to see WHY they did the experiment, and what it is. Along with that, there is “Eye”. Is Eye an agent of chaos, contrasted with agents of order ( such as maybe Marx?). Did the adjoining realities die to feed “Eye”…and is it annoyed because it hasn’t eaten this one? This is what I get for drinking latte in the afternoon.
