LOOK! He’s trapped in a visible monastery!

He’s certainly found the perfect job for him!

He’ll also find all those hidden walls in the monastery.

Yeah, his previous job wasn’t very fullfilling.

…and the monk in the middle was so impressed, he broke HIS vow of silence!

So he’s being mimeful of the good Lord’s works.

As they say in the business world, “Do one thing, and do it well”.

Well, we needed someone to act out the comments of those of us who refuse to speak!

The perfect place for mimes.

That’s a crushing use of crushing, I think. I’m going to have to check with someone younger.

He went to a safe place at which people understand. In a world in which the police and swat teams are called to punish and abuse little children because they are playing, ReStArTiNg at ground zero is required. People were made to be human. Human is not flawed. Human is the goal.

The thing that bothers me is that this is a cheap joke. The ratio of actual monks or brothers with silence vows to the jokes and gags Americans make about them is assuredly miniscule. Maybe branch out a little? So many other religious things you could make fun of.
