@tad1 . Saw that red headed woodpecker in a neighbor’s rain gutter this morning. 3 mourning doves were among birds at my feeder. Oh, the best part was seeing my next door neighbor’s outer lawn covered in red. I suspect she sprinkled an entire tin of cayenne there to see if it would dissuade squirrels from digging holes. Wonder what strollers by thought! :)

There was a woodpecker in our backyard this morning. Looking for bugs, I suspect.

I got to see one of the Siletz estuary’s eagles today.

Come on, Chesney, let the kitties have some more time for cuddling. Dinner can wait. (You’re just going to play about it anyway.) On another note, saw a fox sparrow and some golden crowned Kinglets while out walking today. I also heard some geese in the distance.

I saw a Red Shouldered Hawk today…not a usual sighting. Nice to see him soaring over my neighbor’s driveway as I drove in to take her a chocolate cake. This time the good deed was not punished.
