Both have the potential to be good things, Zig. I’ve gone through many phases of figuring out what I want to be when I grow up, the most recent being in the last couple of years — and last year I turned 60. As for actually being a grown up, well, I do all the necessary and responsible things for myself and my family, but I haven’t lost my inner child.
I am — and have been — many things I never imagined when I was a kid, so how could I have wanted to be them? But I wouldn’t say that there’s anything “bad” about that, much less “worse”.

Now you know how I feel about other comic strip children growing up like like that of 9 Chickweed Lane, Heart of the City and For Better or For Worse.
