I kinda feel that with predictive text nobody actually does this any more. It’s more a thing from when we all had Nokias and Motorolas.

I remember this comic from a few years ago, and the decoded answers in the comments back then. It gets easier when you start with a few guesses.

As I observed yesterday, Urban Dictionary and Acronym Finder are the new “secret decoders’ ring” for parents.

I’m 72 and my family calls me the Grammar Police. Are those jumbles of letters going to be real words after I leave this earth? I swear we are going back to cave drawings!

It’s funny, but I remember seeing this strip a couple of years ago and the same explanations in the comments were there then, too.
