…I had a cousin that called himself the Celery Looper…

…I was more of a rhubarb snackers myself…

…any relation to the Famishus Vulgaris?…

    …no as pretty ad a butterfly…

    …and neither was the moth…

…Godzilla King of the monsters would easily beat King Kong…

…though Kong being an U.S. immigrant might turns things into his favor…

    …ah, who am I kidding…

…we build walls to keep his kind out, now…

…and Goshzilla threads on whatever he wants…

…(keep God out of the pledge and all monsters)…

    …the good old days…

…when we enjoyed what we enjoyed just because it made us happy…

    …that’s why I read Frog Applause…

…not because it is filled with vitamin E…

As it turned out, Squiggy was a lepidopterist.

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I’m a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald… striking. So, I’m on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one – big hitter, the Lama – long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga… gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he’s gonna stiff me. And I say, “Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.” And he says, “Oh, uh, there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.” So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.

I’ve photographed a Celery Looper in my yard. Here’s a link with a medium sized pic of one:

It’s a rare day that I don’t learn something from FA. These are pretty things, and I’m sure many of us have googled it. Just last week, I saw a monarch butterfly feeding on my ixora, maybe making a pit stop on her northern journey. Then another this morning. Shoulda took a photo.

Getting knocked head over teakettle by a celery looper should be pretty exciting.
