Nobody’s mentioning that the brain doesn’t have ears, so it couldn’t hear anything? By the way, in the original books, the Tin Woodman didn’t have a brain, either, presumably—no mention that the tinsmith put one into him! And of course neither did the Sawhorse (unless it was magically put in there when he was magically brought to life………) Jack Pumpkinhead had pumpkin seeds for brains, and the Wogglebug had a brain that was far less impressive than he thought it was: he’d let his schooling interfere with his education.
