So O’Malley have the potential to affect the actual landscape of Widdershins? He could easily leverage that talent to get everyone to pay him rent, or find themselves with a sudden sewage problem.
It makes sense that an anchor would host a genus loci (spirit of a place). This would suggest that not only the island, but Mt. Everest, Widdershins, and the theoretical fourth anchor would also have greater spirits attached to them. Mal has already shown that he can be on friendly terms with the minor buggerups/malforms that inhabit the city, it wouldn’t take too much to widen his perspective to encompass the larger spirit.
