I guess my cats would agree with this statement, but personally, I’d prefer chocolate. Chocolate makes everything better.

Today is:

National Doctors Day

National Virtual Vacation Day. I guess that’s about right since many vacation destinations are closed until the COVID-19 crisis is over.

National I am in Control Day. According to cats, they are in control, not us.

National Take a Walk in the Park Day. But for now, stay a least 6 feet awat from everyone else who is out walking.

National Turkey Neck Soup Day

Right about now, I could use a heavy-duty dose of something to reduce the pain in Paul’s face.

I have a t-shirt that says “No day is so bad that it can’t be fixed with a Catnap”. I love it on those really bad days. And I get a lot of good comments when I wear it.

As I write this the USNS Comfort is being eased into the dock by tugs. So emotional. Gov. is there dockside.

I’ve never had a cat that had a reaction to catnip although I grew some when I was catless. (Catnip tea is good for anxiety and stomach issues so Freud’s cat is right!) The neighborhood cats destroyed the plant during a hippie getting high party.

I grew catnip in my garden a couple years ago. My cats really liked it. On another note, saw a rabbit, some juncos, and some robins while out walking today. I also saw a varied thrush outside. There was some hail earlier, but the sun came out after that.
