Nine to Five, that is what Hollywood thinks the average person worked. But I always worked from zero-dark-thirty to half past midnight. If you were still alive a midnight. Boss said “You can sleep when your dead.”
Have a neighbor who complains about being poorest in neighborhood. She got a job in the Post Office part time. I talked to her about getting full time. She said no I don’t want full time. ??
If you can get a 5-9 job there, maybe you can get another 4 or 5 hour job somewhere else and work two jobs at once. I worked 8-5 at a finance place and then 6-9 at a Radio Shack for a couple of years when I first got married.

I’m not sure I’d be able to handle a 9pm-5am shift either.

Hopefully, it’s working at the five and dime store. I can pretend even if they’re not around anymore.

5AM to 9PM lots of overtime if you can handle it. Maybe only a 3 day work week for a 48 hr.

5 to 9 is the best shift to meet people.. especially if you don’t wear pants. Take it Ziggy even if it don’t pay much there could be benefits.

16 hour shift? Makes your work week done in like 2.5 days really. Not too bad.
