Endtown by Aaron Neathery for April 01, 2020

YAY! A normal April 1st cartoon from Neathery! (Check out April 1st 2019’s “Endtown” carttoon for the reason why I’m happy about this).

Time for the dittos to steal her weapon. She has no idea of the power she is dealing with.

But this is confirmation that she needs them to transfer between gates.

She needs to improve her skills as a boss. She needs to tell Wally that if he wants to see his family survive, they cannot waste time in trying to get back — or else this and all worlds will be destroyed.

Interesting that there seems to be an intact fire extinguisher here, in a room that shows signs of structural damage, but zero furnishings (visible).

Still power sources are handy to have.

The cat’s not going to back down. She doesn’t realize who she is dealing with.

She is trying strong arm tactics with Wally, this does not bode well.

Wally needs to learn when the time calls for pigheadedness, and when it calls for sheepishness. Neither of them can afford to carry a corpse. And, as for the dittos – the suit has a mode for killing those off as vermin.

So far, no more graffiti or toothbrushes.

Any thoughts on the “gate” being handmade?

So, she didn’t rescue them out of the goodness of her heart after all..

It’s nice to see Atari still thrives in this universe!

Wally has a cat’s impulsiveness……it’s gonna get him killed one way or another. He needs to stay on mission…..and find his family.

The building says Coca-Cola on one side, but the sign on the other side begins with a J.

Best not to chuck the chin of a kitty that can have your head cut off with a thought.

Now you gotta know it’s an alternate reality; Atari being around is just so improbably. This dimension probably had DNA on the Cob instead of DNA helixes.

Actually I’m with Wally on this one. Since it’s his life on the line, as well as the other three, it seems reasonable to want an explanation instead of just being told to obey blindly. And she’s forgetting he’s an engineer, it would be natural for him to be curious about the beacon.

Wally knows just where to crack that Topsider suit open to cause her to mutate—-so be nice, lady.

Does anybody here still trust the topsider?

And why does she want the three mutants anyway?

For some real other-worldly fun, check out the tunnels on the abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike. Many videos on You Tube. And while the control rooms are definitely off-limits, many have trespassed anyway, with some really wild videos.
