I have a problem with authority, sometimes my kids don’t respect mine.

I’ve been responsible…Wait, don’t get ahead of me…

They won’t give you any more bread to go with it. Just responsibility/liability!

We had a trooper sitting in the ready room when a disgruntled citizen came in and demanded “to see someone with a little authority”.Jerry replied, “Try me, I’ve got as little as anyone”.The citizen couldn’t help laughing and the mood was lightened.

When I was in the military I was a member of the most feared group known.

A young 2nd lieutenant with authority but no experience.

I was given authority…

Boss: “Oh, there are new emissions laws, you are now the authority on them, good luck”

I have tons of authority. Providing I am total legal, have court cases to back me up, and then judged later by folks who weren’t even there when it happened.xD. I like Ukko comment….been there and done that.

But when you think about Authority remember the poem……The Train. My life in a nutshell.

The only problem I’ve had with authority is when he gave me 30 days…

Unfortunately in industry, the people in authority are too often incompetents that are put in management because they can’t do the job. Those who can’t perform, manage.
