As it was originally posted, this bottom row of this strip and the next strip were a single three-row strip, the last strip in the case. The big top panel here is new for the published version (the text was in the first panel of the next row). Also, the girls have been recolored in the last two panels, desaturated to make it more apparent that they’re behind the window.

Understandable but still annoying. Mildred saved him from a disaster he was responsable at least for the 80%! I wonder if we will even see Sasha again in a future John Allison’ comic.

Sasha’s trial for murder must have been very interesting! Since the only evidence was her taped confession, did the mystery kids have to appear as witnesses? Whatever did Mildred’s parents think?

Mildred does not want to hear the words “sea” and “fish” again for a long while.

If Sasha had succeeded in murdering Mildred, would he have said, “I don’t want to talk to you, Sasha”?

Things have been righted, or at least prevented from getting worse. This whole thing must be pretty traumatic for Lee. I can’t imagine it would be an easy thing to recover from; a bit of a mind f#ck, really. Still wish we knew a bit more about how Sasha came to be on land. Now, she would make an excellent super villain, and forever cursed it would seem.
