Along the trails of the Niagara Gorge there are signs to watch out for falling rocks and not to enter the water. There used to be copperhead snakes but they’re rarely seen so there’s no warning signs up for them.

I always thought the signs saying Watch For Falling Rock were about a missing Indian.

We have those signs on the way to Tahoe and yes rocks do fall on the road!

Norm was doing well until that final sign!

Fred Willard had a joke “When I see a sign ‘Watch for falling rocks’, I stop and say ‘Well OK, but I can only do it for 15 minutes, then I have to go!’”

Wait till they get to the one that says “Stop Casting Porosity”.

(Every time I see a sign that says “Wet Floor” I want to read the first word as an imperative.)

The Natural World is a very dangerous place. But most hazards are easy to avoid if you just pay attention to your surroundings.

I remember warning signs for cougars at several parks in California. That’s the 4 legged kind.

There was a rattlesnake sign last time we went hiking. I told my wife it was probably too cold still for them to be about, even though there were lizzards everywhere.

Best beware of that last one.
