Writing a novel without a computer is impressive. Is that a pen on the table?

At last, Stephen King finishes The Stand, the Expanded, Unabridged, Holy Crap, This Book Weighs a Ton novel. I pre-ordered mine last December. It’s delivered with a forklift.

author here sure got out of the loop (did he even happen to have two months’ food and other necessities while isolating himself in do-not-disturb solitude so he could write his novel?)

In what reality would one ever say, “I’d better go ask Rat what’s happening”?

If he’d turned the computer on and the Internet off, he could have finished in one month.

Wait! He didn’t say he wrote it. Maybe he just read it.

This could have made a great Twilight Zone back in the day with Rod Serling starting the prologue with “I submit for your approval a struggling novelist, Neighbor Bob, who is about to come out of his house for the first time in 4 fortnights to enter…pause…… The Twilight Zone”… Rat would be the antagonist who kills him in the end with Goat trying to stop the insanity to no avail……

Yes, things have changed very quickly. Nearly 100,000 dead in just over 2 months. 38 million on unemployment (and soon to be kicked off the enhanced version by Trump).

What does that have anything to do with this comic? I come to these pages to get away from politics. I have a very definite opinion of who I support but won’t be sharing it here. If you want to talk politics there are plenty more sites to do that.

Summing up this insanity in 8 panels or less. Over in Bloom County (my second stop every day after Pearls), BB coined the phrase “snowflake veils” for the face masks.

The comments section for comics is the stupidest thing ever created. And i say this fully aware i am participating in it. I would pay five bucks a month to taser anyone who posts a comment on any comic strip, starting with myself, as i already own the taser.
