Spiff is lucky. Zark enforcers aren’t usually this reasonable.

So does the school take no responsibility for allowing him to leave and make it home? They don’t even seem to have called his parents before he made it home.

He just doesn’t seem to learn Cause and Effect.

Dad is going to check Calvin’s homework?! That seems like an epic bad idea to me.

I’m pretty sure the talks with teacher and principal never even went in the one ear.

Not only smart but humble. Both admirable qualities in a tiger.

Extra homework never works.

He’ll just buy his papers off the internet like everyone else.

Boy did he learn his lesson!

Calvin is clearly executive material, a CEO in the making.

I enjoy Calvin and Hobbes, but thought Watterson’s constant dwelling on Calvin getting Hobbes to do his homework a bit too much. I know it’s just a cartoon, but Schultz’s also beat the luxurious Snoopy doghouse theme to death as well.

Great Calving got the entire family in it now. I doubt Dad is going to be happy have to do homework again.

Once you realize that the quality of Hobbes’ homework is directly affected by Calvin’s intelligence, Wattersons intent becomes a bit clearer. Garbage in, garbage out.

And not a lesson shall be learned.

Calvin will of course do it, only through his alternate personality. Man, this kid is dissociated.

Hobbes is smart enough not to do homework either.

At this rate, Calvin will never make it out of first grade unless someone has pity on him.

Too bad he wasn’t able to Ask Siri, Alexa or Google it back then!
