You can still be hard as nail and have a weak bladder. You just can’t be hard for long.

My little Westie had a big dog bark. Once, a painter I had hired had come to the front door and had asked me to keep my “big” dog inside while he painted (he had only heard Turbo doing what his job description entailed: guard the house). Our friends have a german shepherd. That dog was trained to guard, but I never heard him bark. My friend said that he was trained to be greeted by his name and then he would go to his pillow. That’s what we do whenever we visit them. We trained our dog to do same, and not to jump and lick visitors…

She told us that once they had a break in, the the dog just waited inside for the thief and as soon as he came in the dog jumped him and forced the guy to the ground and when they heard the commotion they ran downstairs and there was the thief, all scared, under the dog…
