There were two arcs using this device. I think a lot of people are remembering the first one (I was). It was the best. This is the second (the one with the built-in Ethicator).

Calvin read that psych book that Mother is now reading. He is simply using what he learned to mess with her mind.

How long will that last? Next adventure is preparing!

And we have not seen Hobbes.

Hobbes randomly comes in and out of certain story lines. It’s really odd since Hobbes is Calvin’s common sense as well as logic and anything else that Calvin needs.

Maybe he’s swapped places with Luigi from “Rose is Rose.” Luigi’s cat is naughtier than he is. (So is his mom, for that matter. A fun lady.)

The problem with books on Child Psychology is getting your child to read them.

Child Psych was my favorite class in college - it helped me understand both my roommates and my girlfriends at the time. Did absolutely nothing to help me deal with my own children, however.

I like this Calvin too bad won’t last. Children don’t act like this. Did any of you see that recent video little kids with bigger kid? I believe the bigger one was being bullied by the smaller one. And the bigger just got fed up with it.

Calvin is just trying to divert his Mom’s attention, something is always afoot with Calvin. He needs or wants something or he wouldn’t act like this.

I like the teachers note theory

I feel like I’m in the “Twilight Zone” right now! Who is this little boy and what has he done with our Calvin?!?!

Maybe he somehow fell, hit his head and now has amnesia, turning him into the exact opposite of the little rascal we know and love so much!

This reminds me of the people I go out of my way to be pleasant to just because it annoys them.
