Oh good grief! What kind of care can we expect from an ER that keeps banker’s hours?
I’m not a medical whiz, but somehow I think Sopapillia is going to need more than a general practitioner with a head mirror on his melon.
Mayhap a thoracic surgeon, an anesthesiologist, a bevy of surgical nurses, several pints of typed blood and a specialist to treat the global toxemia she is about to suffer from her untreated for at least an hour perforated bowels.
Not to mention the phalanx of myrmidons necessary to quiz R.J. about Sopapillia’s prior medical history, her health insurance, whether or not she is an organ donor or a no code and to print out and put the little plastic bracelet around Sopapillia’s wrist before they will allow her out of admitting and actually let her see an M.D.
How is Rip going to resolve all this from long distance?
