But then you have to buy like $300 of Flex Seal products to put the car back together.

Uh oh Sterling is in love. Can you just imagine the Feral One with that baby?

Sterling’s in love, but that chainsaw outweighs him.

That reminds of those logging competition chain saws that get names like Angry Beaver.

Sterling: “Yeah, maybe it’s bigger than me, and yeah, maybe I can’t lift it yet. But that hasn’t stopped me from getting into the Mayo so far!”

I love all the little background details that add so much to this strip – the birds singing in the trees in the first frame, the door bell in the second frame, and the floorboards, the seed packet display and the other items on the shelves. I would read this strip just for the characters and story line, but the artwork raises it to a whole other level. Thank you Mr. Henry!

If he ordered that fastener from Amazon Prime, he could have it by Tuesday. (Let the Amazon bashing begin.)

It’s a good thing Sterling is strapped to his dad. Otherwise, holy terror would ensue.

Sterling is in a tight fitting backpack which may be the very best way to take him anywhere.

Buy the kids some seed packets; it’s a quieter hobby!

I’ve always loved wandering through a hardware store, the older the better! Thanks for the memory, Wil!

Hardware store with a wooden floor… There is a special smell that goes along with that; oil, paint, fertilizer, lumber, soil, rubber, and dozens other components. That smell takes me straight back to childhood and a visit to “Miner’s Lumber” with my grandfather every time I go into one. Home Despot and Lows will never come close. Glad Wallace and Sterling will have that time portal too!

This one made me laugh. Hard. That’s why it’s on the top of my list. Thank you, Will.
