If you have an important point, it’s worth repeating it over and over.

Imagine being the person hired to type up all those pages for “The Shining” which was made before PC’s. Fortunately, the director was OK with typos.

I still prefer this novel to the novel coronavirus.

Hmmm. The kid is going to start role playing Nicholson from “The Shining”….

All play and no work makes Lio a fun friend to Cybil and Ishy and innumerable spiders and bats!

What could be better than that?

It’s been done.

All the work turned out to be not worth it.

No aliens and no monsters make Lio something something…

It’s dull, Dull, DULL. Not to mention, a bummer, Bummer, BUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMER.

I don’t get it. Why did he quit?

Does this mean that Lio is the young Jack Nicholson? It would explain a lot.

Lio is a lefty again in this strip. It’s not consistent, but I think that’s the case more often than not.

In the opening of Treehouse of Horror XXIV, Bart Simpson did the same thing on a blackboard.

“All it needs is an title.. i am thinking something among the lines of no beer and no tv make Homer something something. Go crazy? DONT MIND IF I DO!”

All new writers have moments of frustration, Lio. Your opening line was adequate, at any rate….

1) After that many repetitions, it doesn’t seem so novel.

2) It’s certainly possible to play while home alone. And Lio, you don’t have a “job”, nor do you appear to be doing school “homework”, so if what you’re writing is all you can think of to do, it’s your own fault.

All poems and no play makes Liō a dull boy.
