I wish the customers would care more about keeping us safe. I wish they’d stop spending their stimulus checks on electronics and other non-essentials. The stimulus checks are meant to help buy groceries and pay rent. I wish they’d stop bringing the entire family to shop for all those things they don’t need. Or, as an alternative, I wish Walmart would limit the customers coming in the way Woodman’s grocery does. Woodman’s only allows one person to come in with one cart. I wish people would stop treating Walmart like a playground, just because the parks have been closed. Then they leave toys and things all over the store for us to pick up. I wish this virus would go away so people would stop wearing masks because they are hiding their identity with some of those masks. We had a customer in our store recently who threatened an associate with a hammer. She was banned from the store, but she still comes in, wearing a mask so she can’t be easily identified and she is still abusing and threatening associates. I fear some of those masked people far more than I fear the virus. Those who wear masks that hide everything but their eyes (and some wear goggles too so their eyes are hidden too) are pretty scary looking.
