Alice: Dill, give me the glue, okay? YAGH! I just remembered! We never found the clown that came out of the jack-in-the-box! YAGH! IT'S STILL UP THERE! Miss Bliss: Oh-kay. Everyone get under the table again and I'll read to you again.
Richard S. Russell–Are you serious? Does he not realize that without the education he got from those supposedly terrible people he would be a cashier at McDonalds? Teachers are the foundation of society and economy, yet we treat them like dirt.
I have yet to meet an overpaid teacher. (Saw a great article once that demonstrated that if teachers were paid as babysitters are - considering that’s often what their job is considered to be - they would make astronomically more money.)
“Up here in Wisconsin, the governor thinks of them as “greedy, self-centered, lazy, money-grubbing, overpaid teachers”.” —- Not the teachers, the unions.
Everything important I’ve ever learned has been on my own initiative. The only classes that have benefited me are those “hands on” type where I learned a skill- book knowledge is better at my own pace (and my own choices).

Miss Bliss really needs to learn how to lie to the children, or else how to open vents and search through ducts.
