Great way to end the Peanuts 1973 Charlie Brown baseball/Mr. Sack arc. Nowadays MAD Magazine is mostly a mix of reprint and some new items in a bi-monthly magazine format (and recently Al Jaffee, famous for the MAD Fold-Ins, retired at the age of 99).
This was a good story. One of Schulz’s best. Charlie does need to take the advice in the last column. His rash likely went away thanks to bring away from the usual problems he faces. More good advice: tomorrow is another day.

Its okay, CB, it’s just the lighter side of the situation…. Or it could be a MAD look at your situation.

Will he have an Alfred-like rash in the back of his head? Classic ending to a storyline.

So which was better Mad or Cracked? Sylvester P. Smythe or Alfred E Neuman?

So does he go back to wearing the sack and enjoy another week of glorious anonymity?

Put the sack back on, Chuck. It’s for the best.
