Yeah, Annie, mind your table manners. There aren’t any. Slobber on!

Ummm… Annie – Sophie is a Labrador. Labs don’t eat – they inhale. There is a reason they are often referred to as “Stomachs on legs”.

When our cats Boots was a kitten he went after the food with such gusto that I could almost hear him saying “I gotta get big”

He’s about 18 pounds now, I guess it worked

Had a beagle who did that, she inhaled her food. My Dad had to buy kibble that was big enough that she had to chew it.

Mine is only half Lab. Yes the other half is a Hoover.

I have found that most dogs inhale then spit out the bowl.

Oh hell no. You gotta eat all your own food before you go steal other peoples chow. That’s the rule.

But Annie, if she does that, then the food will get into her stomach slower too!

That’s why you should also have a water bowl close at hand.

This is “Turd” drinking water. He eats one kibble at a time.

Sophie sounds like my cat with a hairball – that usually comes up with most of her food.

Annie can’t help being a good Mom it is just who she is, all love.
