Imagine the sounds of the truck driving up, using the lift arm to lift the trash can to empty it, put it back down, and then the beeping as the truck backs and turns to go back where it came from!
OK, I know that is too much for every time you empty the trash, but maybe you could have a switch to set just how much of this you want.
Many years ago, there were little programs which would change the Apple desktop trashcan in to various objects. The favorite one for most was Oscar the Grouch popping out of the can and singing “I Love Trash!” when you emptied the trash. After one too many parents found out that their kids had emptied the majority of their hard drives in to the trash to hear the song over and over, the program disappeared.
