Lini looks like Jimmy Olsen in the old Superman strip circa 1955. Just add a few freckles here …. Seriously, this comic hasn’t had a comprehensible story arc in months. If I went to high school with these kids I’d ask my folks to home school me. If you want to read some dialog that, if not compelling is at least funny, try “This week in Milford” at the link below. I hope it prints out properly.
Lini is so cool he wears his prom outfit to school every day. I think that girl in P1 is going Linda Blair in “The Exorcist,”and about to spin her head around. Did she just spot the Thorp kids in the hall or does she have an aversion to looking at the people she’s talking to? It does look like Moon is broadcasting from a prison riot, doesn’t it?
Another year without playdowns is another year of Milford misery.
Regarding Lini, as my fellow Thorp enthusiast told me: “Back in the day, they would never have beaten a story line to death like this. It was all about abrupt endings so they could move on to all their other good ideas.”
Good ideas like game footage, line up cards, and Thorp family interaction.
Rubin and Whigham work for the Detroit Free Press.
The Detroit Lions stink.
The Detroit Pistons stink.
The Detroit Tigers stink.
Somebody must pay for Detroit’s sports ineptitude.
Gil Thorp was a successful coach who won championships, so he must pay for Detroit’s sports futility because if Detroit can’t win, nobody can even if they are fictional.

Thanks for the “twim” link. It allowed me to notice that today’s P3 is exactly the same as on March 8, including the gorillas.

“Welcome to Life” - wtf does that mean?
“Welcome to dreck” would be more appropriate.

Cheating fathers in the summer, drugs all fall, bullying rainbows in the winter, next up a female baseball pitcher ruins Gil’s spring.

I want to see Milford get into the championships pretty soon. More tension on the players and coaches when there is a trophy at stake.
