I had a coworker like that. She stuck her finger up my nose. I thought about pulling away from her, but didn’t think she’d actually put her finger up my nose. She did NOT believe in personal space.

They must be his emotional support co-workers.

The pets feel neglected and are bored.

My dog comes in to supervise a couple of times a day.

I have way fewer interruptions. People don’t stop to “chew the fat” but will call if they have genuine questions.

I’ve found that people are logging in about 15 minutes early for meetings – that’s when the social conversations take place.

I’m thinking of proposing a virtual lunch hour maybe once a week just to chat with people.

The management team is checking on the status of your latest project – “Are you done yet?”

Tell me about it! If it weren’t for the fact my home workstation is an AirDesk®, my cat would never cease harassing me.

What about in recent months during the COVID-19 pandemic TV news sportscasters and weathermen working at home with sometimes their pet dogs and/or cats in the background?

This guy should be glad he doesn’t have a pet tarantula doing this, or a bored, friendly boa constrictor.
