Two favorite songs come to mind: “If I had to choose one Moment” by the late great Nat King Cole and “Lazy Afternoon” by Patti Austin. Give a listen. . .
My husband does nothing without planning. The planning takes days to weeks longer than the doing.
Perfect day – every one is, as long as we are together. Whether we are schlepping my mom to yet another doctor with a 4 hour wait to see the doctor, or going to the Pennsylvania Dutch country for a day or a weekend (his favorite place to go) to be there on a Friday when the best farmer’s market is open – not sunny, not rainy, not hot,not cold – it is a perfect day if we are together – and we are almost every day.
