How is it that alot of cartoon characters who wear glasses only have pupils for eyes?

Hmm. I had a strange sense of déjà vu yesterday and now I’m having another one. I wonder why that is?

A mistaken idea that glasses somehow only worn by educated people. The error that they read more and thus “damage” their eyes.

Smart people aren’t exactly “blurry”. What they are is tricksy, so you’re never quite certain what they’re going to do next.

I’m pretty “blind,” so I find it pretty amusing to make a friend try on my glasses once in a while. My eyes are significantly different from each other, too.

(admires eyes for character without glasses in the third panel of the cartoon; remembers a certain version of a certain character with similar eyes named “Olive Oyl”)
