Someone stole two 5 foot alligators from a store in Manhattan KS. One of the alligators was let loose at Wildcat Creek and she’s been seen for the last three days but they have been unable to capture her. Now a wildlife guy has said if our winters are mild enough (and they have been the last couple years), it could survive for years. In the meantime, they closed part of the bike/walking trail adjacent. Oh, and they don’t have any idea where the other one is.

The last place I worked in Florida had gators all over the place. One named ‘Big Mama’.
