I thought Peppermint Patty was a better baseball manager than Charlie Brown. Lucy at least occasionally knows she’s playing outfield AND will make an effort. Even if her only reason for being on Charlie’s team is Schroeder as a teammate.

Marcie doesn’t have a glove Peppermint Patty. How would you expect her to catch a ball?
